PayPal's SelfService team is looking for a talented full stack engineer in Austin, TX to work on transforming the online customer support solutions. We want people who thrive on satisfying customer needs and who have a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. As a member on our team, you will work directly with our Product Owners and Designers to create outstanding solutions and deliver incredible products.

Participate in the full development life cycle, including design, coding, testing and production release.

Partner closely with design & product to craft great product experiences.

Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.

Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance

Required Skills

Strong experience working with N-tiered architectures (UI, Business Logic, Data Access layers) along with some experience with SOA

4+ years application design, development, and testing experience.

4+ years building application using Java and Java based frameworks (Spring, Hibernate etc.)

Expert in modern database/storage technologies

Experience with web application development including Node.js applications on top of RESTful APIs.

Experience with popular JS frameworks and libraries (React & Redux (preferred), Angular, Backbone, Underscore, etc.)

Experience with web fron-tend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, LESS, Bootstrap, Dust

Solid experience with automated unit, functional and integration tests

Understanding of cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.

Ability to work in GIT and Unix shell
