The COE team is looking for a technology passionate engineer. COE supports a global cross-functional development organization building frameworks in Java, PEGA and Nodejs. This particular requirement is in Java frameworks team that builds reusable frameworks on top of heterogeneous messaging platforms like JMS, Kafka and other proprietary home grown messaging infrastructures. The frameworks are built for efficiency, scalability and ease of use. The application team should be able integrate and extend the framework seamlessly. We are looking for a technology engineer who has the experience in building scalable and available applications to drive the execution of building next generation horizontally scalable and fault tolerant middleware platform. The Day to day responsibilities include understanding the requirements & design principles, doing design and code reviews and building critical components so as to become a go to person for all technical deliberations. Also proactively driving best practice standardization through the organization and working in a collaborative team environment.

Must Have:

Strong working knowledge of Java 1.7 and above including Java EE concepts and frameworks.

Strong Working knowledge of Spring Framework.

Understanding of application servers such as WebLogic, Websphere

Knowledge of high volume operations environment

Working knowledge of Messaging platforms, JMS, JavaScript

Ability to understand complex software solutions & communicate recommendations

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Understanding of Unix / Linux based systems

Strong critical thinking & problem solving skills

Nice to Have:

Full SDLC knowledge, preferably in an agile environment

NO SQL DB (Couchbase, Mongo DB, MySQL) experience

Apache Camel/ Apache Suite knowledge.

Understanding of Unix / Linux based systems

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or any equivalent degree ; 6 + years related experience
