As part of the DE Credit Team, reporting to the Head of DE Credit, a typical day for the Senior Manager Business Development, DE Credit) will include to maximise LTS (life-to-site), New TPV (Total Purchase Volume) and first Merchant Loans. Furthermore, this person will participate in development of & being responsible for budget targets for front book portfolio, ensure profitable pricing and smooth merchant launches with bug free integrations.

What does Success Look Like

Consumer Credit

  • Coordinate and manage sales targets across BU & GOPS segment structures

  • Manage SB & MM pipelines in coordination with BU teams

  • Assist with LE & international pipelines in coordination with BU teams

  • Assist in merchant pitches where required

  • Coordinate with B2B & partner marketing to ensure merchant base is aware of products

  • Manage contra budget efficiently to drive new merchant LTS

  • Ensure sufficient sales resources are in place across products and segments (internal & external)

  • Complete frequent product training sessions to ensure sales people have best in class knowledge

  • Present sales performance at BU MBR meetings & lead monthly credit sales performance meetings

  • Represent PayPal Credit at external sales events and conferences

Business Lending

  • Ensure external telesales are staffed & trained

  • Be responsible for driving 1st loan penetration across eligible merchants

  • Coordinate with B2B & partner marketing to ensure merchant base is aware of products

  • Represent PayPal Credit at external sales events and conferences

Projects

  • Ensure internal sales are compensated with revenue based commission model

  • Evaluate in-store pilots

  • Integrate credit product information in new to PP marketing materials

About You

  • Bachelor, Masters or MBA degree in business or related fields

  • Understanding of credit market in Germany (consumer & business)

  • 7+ years work experience in related fields

  • Excellent analytical skills and Excel and PowerPoint experience

  • Project management skills to drive projects & get results

  • Results oriented, fun, energetic personality

  • Works well under pressure and in a cross-functional and multi-national team

  • Fluent in English & German
