The Data Infrastructure Engineer defines and drives strategy for availability, scalability, manageability and agility. In addition, they assess new and emerging new technologies and industry trends for internal adoption and/or contribution.

The Data Infrastructure Engineer defines and drives strategy for availability, scalability, manageability and agility. In addition, they assess new and emerging new technologies and industry trends for internal adoption and/or contribution.


  • Provide extensive administration support and technical leadership for all aspects of UC4, Control-M, and Airflow components; installation, configuration, setting up environments with high availability; ensuring that all systems and procedures adhere to organizational best practices

  • Day to day administration of UC4, Control-M, and Airflow

  • Build automation tools for any activity performed in the infrastructure such as upgrades, activations and deactivations, etc.

  • Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

  • Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.

  • Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as software upgrades.

  • Prepare and review operational reports or project progress reports.

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Architecture Team (a functional unit within the Business Intelligence Group), analysing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.

  • Work with vendors to manage support SLA’s and influence vendor product roadmap

  • Continued growth as a technical expert in data integration technologies and solutions.

  • Work with cross functional operations teams such as systems, storage and network to design technology stacks

  • Exhibits strong business knowledge and builds strong customer relationships.

  • Understanding of the Eco system such as databases, Linux/Unix systems, other ETL tools
