Strong Quality Engineer with good technical and communication skills with passion to improve the quality of employee facing applications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 8+ yrs of overall testing experience with 3+ yrs of test automation or development experience and 3+ yrs of quality lead experience.

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming principles.

  • Strong programming skills in one of the following programming languages:

  • Java, C++, C, C# (preferably Java)

  • Strong experience in developing test automation.

  • Experience with web application technologies: JavaScript, CSS, XML and HTML.

  • Ability to work with teams in remote locations to complete assigned tasks.

  • Good system administration skills (Linux, Windows)

  • Experience with developing queries SQL, MySQL, Oracle and PL/SQL

  • Experience with testing and automating Restful APIs, Web Services, SOAP UI

  • Knowledge of Operating Systems

  • Ability to create test plans, test cases, execute test cases, identify, file and track resolution of software defects.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize, delegate and execute tasks in high pressure environment.

  • Ability to lead the projects, team members and execute project tasks as a team member

  • Able to perform System Integration testing, Regression testing and data base testing.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Passionate about quality, wants to make a difference.

  • Experience with Source-code control systems, preferably GIT.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with the J2EE application server software platform.

  • Experience with Agile Software Development is plus

  • Experience with BMC Remedy 7.1 application

  • Selenium and TestNG test automation frameworks

  • JIRA bug tracking system

  • Rally software management software

  • Experience with HP Mercury tools, QTP , Quality Center

  • Experience with testing applications based on SAP CLM, Workday, HCM and other SAP modules

  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Jenkins is plus
