We are looking for a strong Quality Engineer with great technical and testing experience to work on critical projects in PayPal. You are expected to work closely with E2E engineers as well as engineers within Payments Org and across PayPal.

You will be executing test cases manually and via automation, as well as developing automation framework and test in Java. You’ll be working directly with teams in Chennai and San Jose, so flexibility to cover multiple time zones will be required.

Job Description:

  • Participate in Roadmap planning, perform initial estimates

  • Negotiate the roadmap items with Product based on the available resource capacity

  • Resource planning for all delivery teams and for XVertical projects.

  • Ability to work with teams in remote locations to complete assigned tasks.

  • Automate test cases, execute for multiple applications.

Job Requirements

  • BE CS or BE EE or any equivalent 4 yr. degree.

  • 6+ yrs. of overall testing experience with 4+ yrs. of Quality lead experience and good working knowledge in both Agile and waterfall model.

  • Strong experience with design, development of test automation in Java

  • Selenium and TestNG test automation frameworks is plus.

  • Experience with web application technologies: Node.Js, JavaScript, CSS, XML and HTML.

  • Knowledge in DB concepts like ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL and experiences in different RDBM’s like MySQL.

  • Experience with testing and automating Restful APIs, Web Services, SOAP UI.

  • Knowledge of Operating Systems and Experience with Unix/Linux command and basic scripting knowledge is preferred.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Passionate about quality, automation, wants to make a difference.

  • Experience with Source-code control systems, preferably GIT.

  • Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably Jenkins.

  • Experience with Maven.
