The Go-to-Market team is being established to help drive some of the most critical initiatives at PayPal. You will be responsible for building go-to-market programs that help define and tell our PayPal story to customers across the world. Whether you are leading GTM efforts for consumer, merchant or partner products you will lead every aspect of a product's journey from build to customer.

From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications & marketing, you will shape the voice of the product and help it grow a strong and loyal customer-base. To make this happen, you will lead a cross-functional team across product marketing, brand, integrated marketing, sales, risk, compliance, legal, operations and more to ensure commercial readiness for the launch.

At PayPal we need to tell great stories to our customers to inspire them about our proposition. You will play a key role in telling that story, through bringing our vision and products to life for our customers.

We are looking for a strategic go-to-market professional to join our growing team. As a manager, you'll play a critical role in determining role how our organization approaches consumer. You will need to be a skilled operator in creating the strategy and shaping the executing end-to-end multi-year strategies which have a significant impact on the growth trajectory of the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and shaping global end-to-end multi-year GTM strategies supported by key competitive insights and OKR’s

  • Leveraging executive presence to drive alignment and decision-making with executive stakeholders on GTM strategies.

  • Acting as the global point of contact for GTM readiness across the organization (with product, risk, compliance, legal etc.)

  • Building cases for opportunities and develop insightful recommendations on strategic opportunities and operational efficiency

Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the consumer view, being able to translate their needs into a plan.

  • Demonstrate ability to apply analytical skills to support development of the GTM plans

  • Able to collaborate effectively across different functions and different stakeholder personalities

  • Exceptional communicator: able to simplify complex concepts and communicate at all levels in the organization

  • Influencer: thought leader who can bring groups with disparate or competing incentives together to reach consensus for a shared outcome

  • Demonstrated ability in developing sales or marketing strategies and business plans as well as analyzing customer and market insights

  • Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills with a high degree of analytical rigor
