The Director, Internal Controls COE Testing and Monitoring support the delivery of a business strategy for global Internal Controls risk testing and monitoring processes by directing the development, execution and maintenance of testing and monitoring processes. This role will identify innovative solutions, locate efficiency opportunities and define metrics for risk testing and monitoring functions. This position will lead a global team of employees distributed across the world and will report directly to the Senior Director of FLOD COE Testing and Monitoring. This position requires the development of relationships with other managers and business units throughout the organization to ensure excellent information flow and feedback on impacts of processes, changes and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership, direction and functional expertise to develop and drive the strategy for FLOD Internal Controls COE Testing and Monitoring Execution Program
Undertake regular project work analyzing business risks and exposures. Preparation of recommendations to business line leaders concerning process improvement, best practices, risk reduction and maximization of revenue as appropriate.
Deliver periodic and ad hoc reporting against key business testing and monitoring to support management’s awareness and response to control improvements
Establish global relationships with other group leaders and business units, support groups throughout the organization. Work with peer group leaders to leverage best practices, understand new trends and contribute to the implementation of workflow process improvements. Deliver against department goals as agreed
Collecting required information and statistical data to perform statistical and trend analysis. Bring forward all testing results.
Actively support and promote a culture of progress and ensure day-to-day quality & risk mitigation is maintained through periods of strategic change

Prerequisite Knowledge and Proficiencies :
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with experience presenting to Senior Leadership.
Ability to work across multiple lines of business leading large scale complex project management initiatives with high attention to detail and accuracy; while multitasking and meeting deadlines despite competing priorities.
Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship-building and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, self-starter and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
Ability to credibly challenge solutions and reporting to risk owners and ensure that timely escalation of issues and concerns occurs as and when appropriate.
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and exhibit agility in navigating from current state to proposed solutions.
Strong computer knowledge; excellent MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint skills.
8+ years people management required.
Minimum of 12+ years work experience directly related
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience preferred.
