Job Description

PayPal’s Legal Team is looking for an experienced and dynamic paralegal to join its commercial contracts group. In this role, you will work closely with the commercial team attorneys doing a variety of high volume contract overflow and developing templates. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Legal—Commercial.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist high volume low touch contract work

  • Work on complex assignments requiring advanced problem solving skills.

  • Some contract administration systems back-up.

Job Requirements and Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant paralegal experience.

  • Self-starter that works independently, loves technology, and is able to work with a distributed team of worldwide legal and business partners.

  • Sound professional judgment in applying company policies and procedures.

  • Ability to answers questions relative to functional area that may require additional research and follow-up.

  • Works with minimal supervision for commercial assignments.

  • Very good organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task to perform role smoothly without missing deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to identify and suggest improvements in process and tools.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Effective and experienced team player.

  • Strong relationship building skills.

  • Fluency in computer programs including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • College degree, preferred.

  • Law firm and corporate legal experience preferred.

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited school preferred.
