We are looking for a Commercial Finance Intern based in Paris (France) to join our team responsible for CEMEA, a diverse region covering France, Italy, Iberia, Benelux, Ireland, Scandinavia, Middle East, Russia and Africa.
More specifically, we are looking for the smart people who want to make an outsized impact in a fast growing and truly international region. The successful individual will be hyper-analytical, intellectually curious, and extremely passionate about financial and strategic planning, business insights and reporting. Our team is responsible for helping our region meeting its business objectives and key outcomes by providing outstanding support and business insights
Deep-dive on business and market trends to support the region’s strategy and budget and to help the region’s General Managers (“GM”) in identifying opportunities for future growth
Support the Finance team in building the region’s budget and presentations to key leaders for decision-making
Analyze core business trends and new initiatives and communicate risks and opportunities to the GM
Participate in ad-hoc projects across the organization and interface with other teams (Analytics, Pricing, Marketing, local Business Units) to gather reliable information
Identify process improvements, propose alternative ways of working to drive efficiency, and lead the discussions with the Finance team for decisions-making on process changes.
Abilities sought / Job requirements
Self-starter, proactive, results-oriented, team player with a good sense of humor
Highly analytical, with a focus on data-based decision-making, and strong Excel skills with ability to create and analyze financial models
Outstanding written and oral communication skills and motivated leader
Interest for the payment/e-commerce industry, internet/new technologies and finance
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; VBA and SQL a plus
Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Education: Bachelor/Master. Dual business school/engineer background preferred
English mandatory. Any other languages a plus
