Writer and editor to develop employee-facing communications that come from the Office of the CIO. Must work with technology teams to develop content that can be understood by all employees in common, everyday language.

We need an experienced writer who is comfortable with technology and technologists alike, to help us craft clear and easy-to-understand communications for employees worldwide. Plus, you get to work with an awesome team and outstanding, people-focused leadership.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Partner with PayPal IT teams to develop and execute company-wide communications that impact employee productivity.
Help organize and execute employee-facing events, including company meetings, webinars, town halls, fireside chats
Help manage communications processes, including editorial reviews, approvals and metrics.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and research product attributes, processes, and step-by-step changes for internal systems and technology changes
Test and map out product user experiences for clear communications
Analyze audience needs
Research, determine, and create communications for different project rollouts and updates
Create, organize, edit, and finalize user guides, communications, and release plans for internal technical projects
Format technology documentation for end users
Create and edit product overview and instructional videos for technology rollouts
A superb writer, you can convey complex technical processes and information effectively with minimal word count. Clarity, simplicity, and concision are hallmarks of your writing style and experience. You have excellent grammar and writing skills.
You care about fine details and polished execution. You seek perfection in what you produce. Your visual acuity and expertise permits you to spot editorial issues and typos that others have missed.
You are a highly-engaged individual, who is boundlessly curious about technology, ecommerce, human behavior and usability.
You can work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.
You have 5-10 years in content development, technical writing, or equivalent
You can develop a clear, concise, “human” voice and writing style that can be adapted to brand standards
Project management and team collaboration for complex technically-focused projects is well within your comfort zone
You're proficient in Word and PowerPoint development
If you have multi-media and video production/editing skills, that's a plus.
