The financial analyst will evaluate, recommend, and pursue strategic opportunities to optimize revenue and margin growth of the Xoom business. Job Description Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join the Xoom Finance team and support enhanced service to our Xoom business partners as the business accelerates. In this position, you will partner with senior leaders to enable business and financial reporting, improve business processes, and support strategic initiatives. An ideal candidate will possess advanced financial modeling skills, ability to analyze financial risks and opportunities, and a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Support financial forecasting and reporting including month-end close, annual budgeting and long-range planning for the Xoom brand

  • Collaborate with Product and Territory Managers to build business cases, financial models and pricing proposals for new products and strategic initiatives

  • Work directly with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Risk and Analytics to deliver valuable insights and recommendations across the business

  • Partner with various teams to design, evaluate, and plan operational improvements

  • Collaborate with Analytics team to develop financial and operational metrics with reporting on performance across the business

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of related experience in finance, consulting or related functional areas

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar field

  • Ability to synthesize complex analysis into c communications is critical (both in PowerPoint and presentation)

  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel

  • Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead complex projects across multiple functional areas

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience in a high growth and/or payment industry preferred

  • Experience in SAP, Essbase, Tableau and/or equivalent systems preferred
