The CUE Credit team is responsible for the applications and web services that provide advances to our US and international customers for both consumers and merchants. PayPal Credit is a strategic part of the PayPal business plan with an important revenue-generating role to play, which will impact overall company performance. As a Full Stack Developer, you will assist us in building the solutions that will power the next generation of PayPal credit
The PayPal Working Capital team is looking for a self-motivated, lead software engineer to join the team and help build low-latency, high-throughput web applications to grow our new platform. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack developer with strong back-end experience in Node.JS with some proficiency in HTML/CSS and supporting front-end technologies.
Experience with Node.JS and supporting frameworks
Experience with Dust.js or other templating engines
Experience with Grunt or other build/packaging systems
Experience creating user interfaces and addressing cross-browser and backward compatibility issues
Understanding of key web development concepts (TCP, DNS, HTTP Protocol, SSL/TLS, certificates, etc.)
Experience with RESTful web services and SOA concepts
Experience addressing concurrency, transactions, and related run-time application concepts
Experience developing automated unit, integration and functional test suites
Experience with Git source control and effective branching and release management practices
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Enterprise Java and supporting Java frameworks
Familiarity with Unix commands and basic Unix scripting
Familiarity with SQL (preferably Oracle).
