Job Description

The global sales enablement organization is a key function in the global sales operations team, responsible for sales training and communication enablement to support our sales organization. The Global Communication Lead will be responsible for building a communication strategy that engages, enables and supports collaboration within and across our global sales organizations.

Global Sales Enablement & Communications Lead.

Key focus areas for the role include:

  • Global sales operations brand & stakeholder communication strategy

  • Global communication strategy & plans aligned to global sales operations projects

  • Global product launch communication plans inclusive of partnering with the Global learning organization to develop product sales training & launch plans

  • Global sales communication platform ptrategy, build and deployment

  • Partnership with global marketing teams to support greater access to sales content and assets to support sales effectiveness and sales productivity.

  • Sales recognition and best practice / knowledge sharing strategy.

In addition, the leader will be responsible for optimizing current state programs and global scale of regional best practices. The leader will manage a small team 2 communication project managers and be responsible for building critical partnerships with key partners in the marketing, product marketing and sales teams to ensure effective engagement and collaboration on communication initiative and content design and delivery.

The leader will need a strong background in communications and marketing, be experienced in creation of content and content management practices and communication platform management processes & tools. They will need to have had experience in working with external content creation vendors to, at times, create sales assets.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Build a global sales operations & sales enablement team communication & brand strategy to effectively engage and communicate with key stakeholders

  • Design a global content management and sharing framework to support global leverage of sales asset creation, reduced content duplication and acceleration of content localization.

  • Build a framework to enhance new product sales GTM launch communication and training

  • Develop a global communications platform strategy that enables greater sales engagement, collaboration, recognition and a global "single source of truth" to access to selling and learning assets.

  • Build and execute a global sales survey framework that enables sales operations and sales management to effectively collect and assess feedback and measure improvement.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key stakeholders & functional business partners to ensure tight alignment with key marketing, product marketing, PR and communications organizations

  • Partnership with the sales training team to ensure full alignment associated to change management plans associated to GTM sales product launches or global sales operations initiatives.

  • Implement/define metrics framework to effectively measure, benchmark and monitor effectiveness of communication initiatives.

  • Coach and develop direct employees

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Sales communication and marketing background

  • Experience designing a communication strategy leveraging multiple engagement mediums

  • Experience implementing large scale global communication platforms

  • Strong collaboration and partnership skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong project management & priority management skills

  • Proven experience managing a team of individuals

  • Must be creative, professional, articulate, organized, resourceful, high energy, detail and deadline oriented with the ability to interface with all levels

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years related experience in Sales communication and marketing roles

  • Financial Services/Call Center experience a plus

  • BS/BA degree in related field required or equivalent professional work related experience.
