We are looking for stellar software engineers to join our Alternative Payments Platform team and help us expand our support for various regional and global payment types rapidly. In this opportunity you will be delivering to critical business needs starting from ideation to rollout, responsible for scalability and performance of the current platform, as well as enhance the core platform capabilities for future use cases. You will work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and experimentation are a given.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement and maintain business-critical systems.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture and cross functional teams to devise optimal engineering solutions.

  • Be able to independently design, code and test complex features, as well as lead small teams.

  • Help identify and fix performance, scalability and other issues in a time critical manner.

Job Requirements :

  • MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years of experience developing software, primarily with object-oriented languages such as JAVA/J2EE.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java MVC frameworks and common open-source technologies (Spring, JDBC, RestEasy, Hibernate)

  • Strong hands-on experience with REST API’s, Web Services, Unit Testing, Java Build tools.

  • Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL etc) and/or NoSQL(MongoDB, CouchBase etc)

  • Experience applying software design patterns.

  • Experience using industry standard software development tools (IDE / Version Control / Continuous Integration).

  • Have a passion for developing high quality and robust code that scales and performs well

  • Highly motivated, goal driven, can-do approach.

  • Innovative, entrepreneurial, team player, ability to multi-task.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience leading projects or teams is a plus

  • Payments or e-commerce industry experience is a plus

  • Experience on front end technologies is a plus
