We are a team of full stack software developers and work closely with the cross functional software development teams across PayPal. We are looking for versatile candidates who can develop complex software components and tools in a highly aggressive environment. They will play a key role in the architecture discussions, developing new components, and optimizing the existing systems code.
Expertise in software development within the payment or ecommerce domain working with high-volume, high-transaction, high-performance, scalable, and secure systems is a plus.
Design, code, and implement modules in Java / Groovy / Node JS
Create, maintain, and enhance the Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure
Develop and maintain libraries for automation framework and backend services
Design and implement tools needed for App development and release to production
Create framework to enable unit and functional tests automation
Develop tools to catch memory leaks and crashes
Create CI pipelines for the jobs such as pull requests and provide status to Github
Work closely with the Development team and investigate issues related to the CI failures
Improve the App’s ability to handle network conditions
Create services for supporting API requests such as failure analysis, root cause analysis, and success/failure rates
Create intelligent and self-learning dashboards to assist in making decisions such as go/no-go for the releases
Participate in the technical design discussions, architecture improvement, propose, and implement solutions
MS/BS degree, preferably in a Computer Science or related field
5 – 8 years of software development experience
Strong knowledge of Java / Groovy / Node JS, performance, scalability, and interoperability
Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration
Knowledge of TestNG and Selenium frameworks
Hands-on knowledge of version control systems
Ability to think logically, diagnose and triage the technical issues
