Job Description

• Develop highly available, scalable, high performance infrastructure systems in a fast- growing Internet company

• Work with various teams to deliver high-performance data platform and data movement channels as part of the PayPal Risk platform

• Design, develop, and conduct code reviews in full SDLC. Perform troubleshooting and provide bug fixes to resolve production issues

• Work effectively in a global team across different time zones

Qualification & Requirements

  • 4-12 years working experience, preferably in an Internet company.

  • 3+ years’ experience in Java development

  • Experience working with NoSQL as well as relational databases

  • A solid foundation in common design patterns, algorithms and data structure

  • Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and oral

  • Deep understanding of software engineering best practice, capable of working in a globally distributed development team

  • Experience in developing high performance, highly scalable distributed systems is a big plus

  • Experience with messaging protocols of ActiveMQ, Kafka is a plus
