Job Description

This position will be responsible for planning and execution of our APAC Ad Operations strategy. Responsible for all aspects of Ad operations, working alongside the regional & global digital marketing teams to implement the APAC Ad Tech Strategy. The Digital Marketing Ad Ops manager will be the key point of contact for marketing teams and media agencies across APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective Vendor management of relation with contracted partners (Google Asia & iProspect) in ensuring delivery SLA timelines & quality are met.

  • Responsible for the roll out and adoption of Ad Technologies including Google’s DoubleClick, Google Analytics 360, Visual IQ’s Multi-Touch Attribution and other platforms/tools to the APAC Market.

  • Key escalation point of contact to resolve partners challenges without compromising the relationship with the partner and internal stakeholders.

  • Partners with the regional stakeholders to consolidate, prioritize and share requirements to the Global Digital teams, influencing the rollout strategy for APAC.

  • First point of contact for APAC stakeholders with Ad Operation / Tech related questions around GA360, DoubleClick and other tracking and tags troubleshooting support.

  • Ensures campaign taxonomy, governance & best practices are implemented, adopted and consistently applied.

  • Maintain necessary technical knowledge to understand full campaign delivery process, enabling accurate and proficient creative QA, trafficking and troubleshooting of all campaigns (audio, video and display including mobile), while also driving operational excellence through constant review and improvement of processes and platforms.

  • Partner with marketing teams to help fully understand and collaborate to ensure campaign deliverables are met and we are fully maximizing the potential from our ad server technology.

  • Accountable to ensure ad server partners cost & budgets forecasted are met, with a constant review that partners pricing remains competitive and financially viable.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of Marketing experience, of which at least 4 years should be in Digital Campaign operations across cross-functional teams for multi-channel digital marketing campaigns

  • Industry experience with ad servers - trafficking and managing campaigns within these

  • A track record of working with 3rd party ad-servers including experience using products such as GA360, DoubleClick, Adjust and Mediaplex. Technically experienced in the configuration and usage of these tools and acts as the POC for paid media initiatives.

  • Experience with Tag Management systems such as Ensighten.

  • Data literate and understand data collection, identify mapping and privacy competencies.

  • Understanding of third party search technologies such as Marin and DoubleClick Search, DoubleClick Bid Manager.

  • Prior experience with setting up governance around campaign taxonomy, naming standards would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of programmatic landscape, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs

  • Knowledge of mobile and social media adserving platforms

  • Multi-cultural perspective, strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong problem solving, organization and attention to details. Strong analytical skills and care about quality of work.

  • Excellent process flow management capabilities

  • Fluent spoken and written abilities in English; Chinese skills are a plus.

  • Business / Commerce/Marketing Degree Qualified (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Outstanding planning and organizing skills
