The candidate will be responsible for leading a team that provides analysis and reporting for the PayPal International BU. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to top executives and learn the fast growing PayPal businesses and develop relationships with cross-functional teams.
Specific responsibilities include:
Analyze and forecast revenue and key KPIs for the PayPal International business
Provide weekly / monthly / quarterly financial reporting and variance explanations
Provide management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to monitor business KPIs and financial results, enable key strategic decision-making
Work closely with various business as well as finance teams to understand overall business performance
Opex – primary owner of Opex management within PP International business that includes all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and detailed monthly variance analysis reporting
Conduct adhoc expense reviews & contribute to expense deployment decisions
Headcount management & reporting - maintain open position listing and hiring plans & prepare & submit related expense forecasts
Partnering with the BU (business unit) on preparing and reviewing investment proposals, validating Opex requirements and ensuring performance reporting is implemented
Ensure alignment on all Opex & Headcount matters with regional and global OPEX FP&A leads
Contribute ideas and support process improvements to drive efficiency in finance operations
Support the local Finance teams in a variety of adhoc projects and tasks as required
