Job Description

The regional growth marketing team is responsible for establishing and delivering APAC wide growth initiatives, building scalable growth capabilities and driving synergy across growth programs that need to be executed regionally in conjunction with global and local marketing teams.

Head of Regional Growth Marketing, APAC, reports into the Senior Director, Asia who has a combination portfolio of growth markets in Asia and regional growth Programs for consumer segments.

The key areas of responsibilities:

  • Pioneer and deliver commonality led growth strategy and plans for PayPal APAC

  • Develop insights using market research to identify new customer segment growth opportunities

  • Be our customer segment advocate and deliver value to key local, regional and global stakeholders

  • Create a seamless process to roll out regional customer segment strategy in conjunction with key global and local marketing teams as well as other cross functional groups

  • Lead regional discussion and represent APAC as a single voice on APAC growth strategy and programs

  • Establish and deliver a cohesive regional calendar of growth and marketing programs

  • Partner with the local marketing teams to align on regional growth program objectives and incorporate regional programs into their marketing plans to maximize APAC wide opportunity

  • Deliver on regional growth programs objectives and targets

  • Create best practice playbooks for regional growth programs that improve efficiency and effectiveness of by-market program roll out across the region

  • Engage agility marketing for growth experiments to improve the speed to market of consumer programs and initiatives across APAC.

  • Develop monthly cadence on read out of programs partnering with cross functional teams including but not limited to finance, analytics, share services, local and regional marketing teams.

  • Manage budget of growth programs

  • Deliver annual KPIs and targets set for regional growth program


We welcome outstanding individuals with the following skills, experiences, and personality:

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution; consumer marketing and B2B marketing experience essential.

  • Strong marketing skillset including deep digital and brand knowledge

  • Be able to articulate strategic marketing vision yet able to execute hands on programs as needed

  • An outstanding influencer and communicator

  • Successful track record on working and collaborating as a team, and across multiple stakeholders, to deliver project outcomes. Prior experience working in a matrix structure an advantage.

  • Self starter who is motivated to lead and drive change

  • Positive, energetic, and able to build rapport quickly with in-market teams and regional platform teams
