This position will be looking after PayPal's payment capabilities and financial partnerships in the Canada market. Optimizing the company position around customer experiences, payment products launches, performance KPIs, costs and revenue enablement. We are seeking a senior payments professional with fanatical focus on the customer and expertise in payments both online and offline. This position will require some travel and experience working directly with the payments industry particularly in the area of electronic payments.
The Head of Payments Canada will be responsible for the strategy, development and maintenance of our payment methods for this region. Responsibilities will include managing relationships and contracts with our payment network partners, schemes, and financial institutions, along aside, to be responsible for building out local partnerships with these institutions to drive new business, acquire new customers and drive activity
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop strategic partnerships with networks, financial institutions and payment schemes to drive consumer acquisition and activity.
Drive the sourcing and delivery of new products and partnerships that optimize our KPI's of transaction expense, revenue enablement and customer acquisition.
Manage a portfolio of partnerships in Canada being the primary point of contact for the relationship, while represent the Payments team on the Canadian Leadership Team.
Analysis and optimization of our payment solutions and make recommendations to improve success rates, availability of the payments platform and lower costs.
Be a strategic thought leader in the ever changing payments landscape in the market and represent PayPal to the payments industry players.
Be the payments expert for the region's operations understanding how people make payments, rules and regulations surrounding payments in the market and the technologies and clearing systems in the market.
Negotiate contracts with local service providers and payments partners.
